Is it really necessary to bring my own tent? Are the tents provided by the organization low quality? If it rains, will everything inside the tent get wet?
Hello! I’m 25F. I had a bad depressive episode following a seizure that led me to some serious SH and SI and even a trip to the ER. I talked with my therapist after my stint at the ER and this was her message to my dad after that session.
“I told her mom to keep a careful watch on X for the next 48 hours, and beyond as she is going through something that she has never experienced before. Her seizure in [foreign country] made her go through new and perhaps agitating sensations she has never had before. Please be on guard yet softly supportive.”
For context, my parents LOVE my therapist and vice versa. She has always called them supportive and would have family therapy sessions with us. At that time I was really in a bad place and could say I was a danger to myself. Do you think what she did was normal/part of protocol?
Yes, the game had a short development time but that doesn't change the facts (besides, I've read that Tales of Zestiria suffers from many of the same issues, and I'm not looking forward to playing it after experiencing Berseria): Most areas in the game feature overly linear design and straightforward paths, limiting the feel of exploration and player agency. Even the "branching paths" often lead to small dead-ends or treasure chests (which, for the most part, are completely pointless and underwhelming), making exploration feel superficial.
The amount of recycled and repetitive environments, frequently reused assets and areas, certainly don't help. Dungeon designs are notably repetitive, with little to differentiate one from another in terms of layout or puzzles. Most dungeons and areas (with very few exceptions) are devoid of unique elements, are super generic and lack distinctive features or visual storytelling, they also have next to no verticality or complex structures, so, as a result, they end up feeling like simple corridors to traverse rather than immersive environments to engage with. All of this contributes to a sense of monotony, barely ever helps the story and world-building, and feels like nothing more than artificial padding to extend gameplay. Plus, enemy placement and encounters feel like a chore rather than an integrated part of the level design.
With repetitive combat encounters and combat in general; With a pointless currency system (I played on moderate difficulty, which is one above "normal," and you can clear the whole game without visiting the shop \*once,\* as there's never anything exciting there, nor do you ever feel like your short of supplies); With underwhelming collectables; With a level design ***this*** bad; The only redeeming feature of this game was its characters and story (which, even that, is unnecessarily drawn out at times but I still ended up enjoying it a lot).
Yes, most Tales games are worth playing for their characters and good stories but at least engaging gameplay, including well-designed levels, is equally important to create a well-rounded, complementary experience. And wow, does this game not deliver.

This is one of my favourite poems ever and I'm really struggling to find more like it. Specifically, I'm looking for poems that are thematically similar. So anything to do with the advancement of science, how all scientists are just one link in a long chain of knowledge, standing on the shoulders of giants, seeking knowledge no matter the cost for the sake of knowledge itself rather than fame or anything else, etc.
I will go first: The fact that professionals seem to believe offering language/socialisation training for ND is “corrective therapy “, yet NT people have Toast Masters and a lot of jobs have relationship management training (e.g. customer support folks/new managers).
So I've been doing some research on finishing 3D printed armor and could really use some advice on which method is the "best" for finishing a PETG armor set. For reference I'm mainly using Elegoo Rapid PETG and printing with a layer height of 0.12mm though I might up it to 0.16mm for parts that would take way too long. I've currently thought of these three methods but could use a recommendation for which would work best:
1: The "traditional" method - sand progressively from 80-180 grit sandpaper, spray with primer filler, sand with around 220 grit, spray again, repeat with higher grits until smooth.
2: Bondo + Acetone method - Sand with 80-180 grit, brush with the Bondo + Acetone mix, sand with a higher grit (220-300) then primer filler and repeat primer filler coats with higher grits until smooth.
3: "Lazy" Bondo + Acetone method - Don't sand initial part at all, brush with the mix, sand that then do all the primer filler stuff.
Would anyone with more experience in this stuff be able to recommend which method would be the best? Thanks!

This parcel was meant to arrive 13-14 January, no updates since 10 January. I’m beginning to think they’ve lost it. Expensive, limited edition items are in that parcel :(
